The CVF-V20 seeks a Director of Communications to set and own the institution’s global communications strategy and to lead its communications practice. The Director is the principal communications adviser and holds editorial leadership over the CVF-V20’s outbound voice, and is accountable for translating the organization’s agenda into a coherent narrative that is carried consistently across the Secretariat, its members, and its partners.

The Lead Economist is responsible for the Unit’s research and analytical work. The role serves as the Secretariat’s analytical counterpart to the specialized partners supplying the programme’s data, information, and analytical infrastructure. The Lead Economist will produce the research underpinning the Multi-Sovereign Investment Fund and will be the principal author of the Unit’s published output.

The Director leads the Secretariat’s work on sovereign investment institutions and investment intelligence: the design of the Multi-Sovereign Investment Fund, and the Secretariat’s side of the intelligence programme delivered with specialized analytical partners. The Director cultivates and manages key internal and external relationships, aligning resources and workflows between the design and intelligence functions to ensure Unit outputs are ready for the V20 member base, Secretariat, and Deal Team to act on.

The Grant Management Specialist is responsible for the overall grant management, donor reporting, and compliance functions for the CVF-V20 Secretariat’s portfolio. A core priority for the CVF-V20 Secretariat is to bolster the global financial safety net, expand pre-arranged disaster risk financing, and address the acute financial protection gaps across vulnerable economies. As part of this objective, the V20 will lead the project execution of the V20 Funding Program funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) serving as the implementing partner.

The Accountant and Grants Manager is responsible for the accounting function of the CVF-V20 Secretariat as well as grants management of the CVF-V20 Secretariat’s funds received from donors and philanthropies. This role involves accounts operations, having oversight of fund management, resource mobilization efforts, managing the donor cycle, coordination with donors and financing institutions on the management and accountability of Secretariat funding.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for the smooth, efficient, and accountable operations of the CVF-V20 Secretariat. The COO leads and delivers the Secretariat’s finance, accounting, budgeting, grants management, human resources, administration, procurement, and ICT functions, consolidating under a single senior role the full scope of the Secretariat’s financial, administrative, and operational infrastructure.

The CVF-V20 seeks a Program Officer to coordinate delivery of its initiative, “Pulling the Methane Emergency Brake: CVF-V20 as a Platform for Climate Prosperity, Health, and Near-Term Climate Stabilization.” Representing 74 climate-vulnerable countries and some 1.7 billion people, the CVF-V20 is building a catalytic platform to position methane mitigation as a core economic, fiscal, and public-health priority, and to strengthen country-led capacity to translate it into investment-ready action. Working in the Secretariat’s science office, the Program Officer will support Member States in embedding methane, air quality, and health co-benefits into policy, political engagement, and investment strategies, and will help align methane action with fiscal stability and Climate Prosperity Plans (CPPs). The initiative complements the Global Methane Hub’s sectoral and city-level investments by addressing political economy, institutional capacity, and collective sovereign leadership.

The CVF-V20 seeks a Program Officer to lead delivery of its Climate Emergency and SRM program under the science and health work stream of the Climate Vulnerable Forum. The Program Officer will keep the 74 CVF-V20 member states informed on the evolving science of 1.5°C and the climate emergency, build technical and policy literacy on climate intervention options, including solar radiation management (SRM), marine cloud brightening (MCB), and sea-level-rise interventions, establish institutional mechanisms for informed deliberation on climate intervention governance, and strengthen Global South representation in emerging international discussions. The role provides balanced, evidence-based information and does not advocate for or against any specific intervention.

The Chief Prosperity Officer (CPO) is an executive leader of the CVF-V20 Secretariat and works in close partnership with the CEO of the CVF-V20 Secretariat under the guidance of the Board and political leadership of CVF V20. The CPO leads the conversion of Climate Prosperity Plan strategies/investment platforms and DFI Compact commitments into closed transactions, builds the in-house team for origination and structuring, and creates business advisory through innovative partnerships with overseas C-suite executives—eventually displacing the model of external intermediation. The CPO reports to the CEO of the CVF-V20 Secretariat.

The Contracts Manager will primarily be responsible for overseeing the administration and monitoring of contracts, agreements, and related procurement actions across different CVF-V20 programs and projects. This role is aimed at strengthening institutional effectiveness and accountability. The position holder will be expected to uphold strict compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements through robust monitoring and evaluation. This position requires strong judgement, the ability to manage complex workflows, and the maturity to work directly with various partners, including governments, donors and other stakeholders.

The Economist, Debt Sustainability & Fiscal Policy will advance the V20 debt-growth agenda by supporting reforms to Debt Sustainability Analyses (DSAs), strengthening fiscal rules, and coordinating a Debt Management Office (DMO) fellowship to enable countries to share experiences, advice, and develop solutions together. The Economist will provide analytical support on debt sustainability, debt-for-climate swaps, fiscal rules, and work closely with DMOs and finance ministries more broadly to help expand fiscal space.
