CVF LEADERS MEETINGS

The CVF Leaders Meeting is the highest-level convening of CVF-V20 leadership, bringing together heads of state, ministers, senior officials from member countries, and key partners to articulate shared priorities and champion concrete global action for climate-vulnerable nations.

Held alongside major global events, such as the UN General Assembly and COP conferences, these meetings serve as a platform for the CVF-V20 to stand together and endorse key political declarations.

Fourth CVF Leaders Meeting

Against a backdrop of escalating climate disasters, energy shocks, deepening aid cuts, stalled development and resilience investment, and a widening loss-and-damage finance gap, CVF Leaders convened on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly to chart a path forward.

Third CVF Leaders Meeting

With the world having hurtled past 1.5°C, CVF Leaders convened at UNGA 80 to demand a comprehensive Adaptation Package at COP30, fair risk assessments, expanded concessional finance, and rapid capitalization of the Fund for responding to Loss and Damage. Their message was unequivocal: Pledges alone are no longer enough. What matters now is scale, acceleration, and delivery.
