The CVF-V20 at the 81st United Nations General Assembly
The scale and interconnectedness of today’s challenges demand more than incremental approaches and call for a reset of the global development paradigm. For climate-vulnerable countries, this means strengthening international cooperation around resilience, equity, prosperity and partnership, while addressing the structural drivers of vulnerability.
Against this backdrop, the CVF-V20 will convene on the margins of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 81) in New York, under the theme “Development Reset and Cooperation.” The convenings will build political momentum for the Vulnerability to Viability (V2V) Compact and the Lifeline Fund, while strengthening parliamentary and scientific engagement on climate prosperity.
