PRESIDENCY
The CVF and V20 Presidency is led by a rotating chair for a period of two years. This term duration allows the Presidency ample time to immerse itself in key priorities and undertake diverse projects. Furthermore, the Presidency transitions across the regions represented by CVF member states, ensuring equitable participation and representation from all corners of the globe.
The current CVF chair is Barbados. In September 2024, the Presidency of the CVF was transferred to Barbados, with Her Excellency Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley assuming the role of Chair of the Barbados Presidency.

CVF TROIKA
The CVF Troika, which is composed of the current Presidency and the immediate past two presidencies of the CVF, makes decisions on the strategic direction and the overall functioning of the intergovernmental organization.
In the current Troika, Barbados is supported by the Republic of Ghana and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
